Job Description

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine steel reinforcement requirements.

Cut, bend, and place rebar according to specifications and construction codes.

Secure and tie rebar in place using wire and other tools.

Inspect and verify the quality and placement of reinforcement before concrete is poured.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with other construction workers and project supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.

Required skills:

Previous experience as a Steel Fixer or in a similar role is preferred.

Familiarity with rebar placement and steel reinforcement techniques.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
