Job Description

Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for the construction project.

Analyze project requirements and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ).

Assist in the preparation of project feasibility studies and cost planning.

Tendering and procurement:

Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.

Evaluate and analyze tender submissions and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.

Assist in the selection of contractors and advise on procurement strategy.

Contract Administration:

Manage and administer constructions contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

Handle contract variations, disputes and claims in collaboration with legal and project teams.

Monitor and manage contract performance, including cost reporting and financial forecasting.

Measurement and Valuation:

Conduct on-site measurements and valuation of completed work for interim and final payments.

Prepare and submit regular cost reports, valuations, and progress claims.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess and manage financial risks associated with constructions projects.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide advice on potential financial impacts.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers and architects to ensure projects objectives are met.

Participate in project meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Foster Strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
