Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Location: Remote (for UAE Customer)
Experience: 4-5+ Years
Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configure, manage, and optimize Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls to protect the network perimeter and internal
systems.
2. Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain VPN solutions, ensuring secure remote access for users.
3. Design, configure, and monitor network security policies and firewall rules to safeguard data.
4. Work with routing and switching protocols to ensure a reliable and eVicient network infrastructure in the
datacenter.
5. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate
risks.
6. Provide ongoing network troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and
optimal performance.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network security solutions aligned with
business needs.
8. Manage and monitor network security logs and alerts, investigating and responding to security incidents.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest network security trends, tools, and best practices, recommending
improvements as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls,
VPN, and routing & switching.
• Strong hands-on experience with network security tools and protocols, including IDS/IPS, VPNs, and threat
management.
• Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and STP.
• In-depth knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues.
• Experience with security management platforms, monitoring systems, and ticketing tools.
• Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks PCCSA, CCNA, or relevant certifications are highly
desirable.
