An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization’s ERP systems to ensure seamless and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation and Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ERP systems within the organization.
- System Analysis: Analyze company processes and workflows to ensure they align with ERP solutions.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with ERP vendors or consultants for upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams and provide training for staff members on ERP systems.
- Customization and Integration: Customize ERP applications to meet organizational needs and integrate them with other business software.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and provide effective solutions to system problems.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the ERP processes, policies, and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure the ERP system adheres to industry standards, data security, and regulatory compliance.
- Optimization: Continuously seek to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of ERP systems based on company goals.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of ERP software especially Oracle NetSuite.
- Expertise in project management and process optimization.
- Good understanding of finance, HR, logistics, or other relevant business areas.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related fields. An advanced degree like an MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems or in management roles.
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Consultant, Oracle NetSuite ERP Certification, etc.)
