Job Title: IBM Maximo Project Manager
Location: Dubai
Experience: 15-20 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Project Manager to lead and manage Maximo implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise asset management (EAM), IBM Maximo implementation, and technical project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
•
Lead end-to-end IBM Maximo implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
•
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
•
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, risks, and resources.
•
Ensure project execution aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
•
Manage stakeholder communication and status reporting to senior management.
Technical Leadership:
•
Oversee IBM Maximo system architecture, customization, configuration, and integration.
•
Work closely with technical teams (developers, architects, and testers) to ensure seamless implementation.
•
Provide technical guidance on Maximo modules (Asset, Work, Inventory, Procurement, Contracts, etc.).
•
Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards.
•
Manage data migration, system integration, and automation.
Team Management & Coordination:
•
Lead cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and testers.
•
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
•
Drive team performance through coaching and mentorship.
•
Ensure effective resource allocation and project governance.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
•
Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and implementation partners.
•
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
•
Gather and analyse business requirements to drive continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
IBM Maximo Expertise:
•
10+ years of experience in IBM Maximo EAM implementation and support.
•
Arabic speaking in must
•
Hands-on experience with Maximo versions 7.6.x, MAS 8, and Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
•
Strong knowledge of Maximo configurations, MBOs, BIRT reports, and workflows.
•
Experience with Maximo integrations (MIF, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and Middleware like WebSphere, WAS, or Tomcat).
•
Expertise in Maximo customization using Java, Automation Scripts, and SQL.
•
Strong knowledge of Maximo mobility solutions (Maximo Anywhere, EZMaxMobile, etc.).
Project & Stakeholder Management:
•
Proven experience managing large-scale Maximo projects across industries like Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Government.
•
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
•
Experience with PM tools like JIRA, MS Project, and ServiceNow.
•
Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and team leadership skills.
Technical & Functional Expertise:
•
Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) best practices.
•
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
•
Experience in data migration, ETL tools, and database management (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
•
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, Change Management, and Incident Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
IBM Maximo Certification (Deployment, Configuration, or Administration).
•
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum Master) Certification.
•
Experience with Maximo AI, IoT, and predictive maintenance solutions.
•
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for reporting.
