Job Title: Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 8-12 years of experience in designing, implementing, configuring, and optimizing Maximo Asset Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Maximo's architecture, integrations, workflows, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Lead and drive Maximo implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
•
Configure and customize Maximo, including MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), BIRT reporting, automation scripts, and workflows.
•
Analyse business processes and recommend solutions within Maximo for asset management, work management, inventory, procurement, and supply chain operations.
•
Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to define and implement solutions.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Maximo technical and functional issues.
•
Provide guidance on Maximo best practices, performance tuning, and security configurations.
•
Design and develop Maximo integrations with external systems using Web Services, REST, SOAP, and API connectors.
•
Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems to Maximo.
•
Develop and maintain custom applications, automation scripts, and workflows.
•
Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
•
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, governance policies, and industry standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
•
8-12 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (7.x and/or 8.x versions).
•
Arabic speaking in must.
•
Strong expertise in Maximo Configuration, Application Designer, Workflow Designer, and MBO Customizations.
•
Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for integrating Maximo with third-party applications.
•
Knowledge of Automation Scripting.
•
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server).
•
Strong understanding of workflows, escalations, actions, and notifications.
•
Experience with BIRT/Report Administration & Development.
•
Knowledge of IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, or other application servers.
•
Experience with Maximo Mobile, Maximo Anywhere, and Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8) is a plus.
•
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance and functional issues.
•
Experience in cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) is a plus.
•
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
