Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the general ledger. Post and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Support tax-related activities, including tax preparation, filing, and compliance with tax regulations. Assist in handling tax audits and assessments. Collaborate with internal or external audit teams by providing necessary financial data and information. Help address audit queries and implement audit recommendations. Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to aid in decision-making and budgeting processes. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on financial data. Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on financial analysis and historical data. Monitor budget performance and assist in variance analysis.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of the intermediate level of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course.
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, or auditing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic financial environment.
