Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:
  • Administer and process the company's payroll accurately and on time.
  • Calculate wages, salaries, and deductions, and enter the data into the payroll system.
  • Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll and taxation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  • Recordkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate and complete payroll records, both electronic and paper.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions.
  • Assist employees with inquiries and changes related to benefits.
  • Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to payroll processing procedures.
  • Reports:
  • Generate and distribute payroll-related reports to relevant departments as required.
  • Year-End Processes:
  • Assist with year-end processes, including the issuance of W-2 forms and other tax-related documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or in a similar payroll processing role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and taxation laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle payroll discrepancies effectively.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
