Job Description

Responsibilities:

Booking invoices for deliveries into our in-house system to record the purchase or sales.

Checking freight/storage/inspection invoices received from different 3rd party companies and preparing them for payment based on traffic inputs.

Booking of and following up on deliveries with different freight forwarders 

Develop and maintain high quality customer service relationships with various counterparties including producers, consumers, and service providers in a manner which creates operational synergies across the supply chain

Proactively monitor contractual documentation, such as purchase/sales orders invoices, shipping and title documents to ensure contractual obligations are met and realized in an accurate, timely and cost-efficient manner

Various other admin tasks on regular or ad hoc bases as needed by the operations team

Required Skills

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in operations within the base metals industry.

A solid educational background, bachelor’s degree required, or professional degree

Fluent English (spoken and written), additional European language is a plus

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Efficient and well-organized working skills, very good accuracy, and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Able to work and communicate with people from various multi-cultural backgrounds.

Must be flexible to work additional hours as required

Excels in collaborative environments while maintaining a versatile, autonomous, and flexible approach to their work.

Ready to adapt to international practices.

Interested in Commodity Trading with the option to eventually move to a future “senior” position.

Very good know-how in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
