Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

·    Jobholder is responsible for providing assistance to the Head of Channels for solution design, development & delivery of existing and future digital channels

Work Management

1.       Create and drive customer on-boarding, online and mobile banking strategies and a long term vision to build best in class platform

2.       Develop in partnership with business owners and IT a roadmap for on-boarding, online and mobile banking that will engage and excite customers through the best user experiences created through these channels.

3.       Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources to inform the strategy and future enhancements

4.       Coordinate with business unit to develop communications that promote existing functionality, enhancements as well as the launch of new features

5.       Work with business to develop  materials and videos that help the sales team understand the features and benefits of the banks on-boarding solutions

6.       Oversee and lead the discovery of solution design requirements, develop the on-boarding, online and mobile banking customer journey and manage user acceptance testing for our mobile and online banking solutions

7.       Research industry trends, evaluate new and existing vendor solutions, analyze competitive market data relative to digital solutions; so recommendations can be developed for the on-boarding, online and mobile banking roadmap

8.       Collaborate with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization as well as identify potential issues

9.       Develop, analyze and produce metrics to track data to quantify the impact of new features/enhancements as well as track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to continuously improve the bank’s profitability

10.    Responsible for a delivery team with wide range of experience, expertise, and technology knowledge.

11.    Business oriented person who can provide and add value to service delivery lifecycle.

DIMENSIONS OF THE JOB

·      This role manages development and delivery of bank’s digital on-boarding solutions, online and mobile banking applications  

·       Manages a team of 10+ members including contract based development resources.

·      Delivery requires contractual and delivery management across 10+ vendors and a number of internal teams in  PBG, Operations, Compliance, Risk and Security

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

 (Both academic & Professional essentially required)

·      Graduate in Computer Science or Similar Discipline

·      Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and/or software delivery methodologies (i.e. Agile)

EXPERIENCE

(Number of years, type & at what level etc)

·            12+ years  in experience in similar job

·            Strong knowledge of Online/Mobile Banking applications and other digital technologies.

·            Core banking knowledge and interfaces is a plus.

·            Deep understanding of UI/UX flow & development, web-based technologies, and mobile application environments, amongst others.

·            Must have experience using basic architecture, database technology, development tools (C sharp & Java/JavaScript in Windows/Windows), .net environment, and APIs.

·             Remain current with technology architecture and various system components for digital platforms, including all interfaces and dataflow to vendor components, as well as to the Core.

·            Familiar with latest product/technology offerings in the market place and emerging trends
