Job Description
Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Collect, verify, and reconcile attendance, overtime, leave records, and other variable pay data.
Calculate salary, deductions (loans, advances, benefits), and final settlements.
Prepare and issue payslips to employees.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, gratuity, end-of-service benefits, and social security rules (as per local law).
Maintain payroll-related records and employee data in HRIS/ERP.
Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
Assist in audits by providing payroll-related data and documentation.
Employee Support & Queries
Address employee payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
Guide employees on salary structures, deductions, and benefits.
Coordinate with finance for reimbursement and allowance processing.
Systems & Process Improvement
Manage payroll through HRIS/ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).
Suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and HR best practices.
