Job Description
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, travel trade partners, and corporate clients.
Leading, supporting and monitoring the performance of the sales force within a defined field of responsibility.
Route management and development of defined markets.
Managing, developing, and overseeing global agent’s relationships for defined markets strengthening the trade lane.
Achieving and improving sales targets and building relations with the customers.
identify new opportunities from the market for value additions offered by the product
Active role in understanding customers’ logistics plans, gaining customer and sales alignment, and implementing the plans along with cross-functional teams to deliver team results.
Manage negotiation terms, implementation, and compliance as necessary, improve and align intercompany processes.
Identify/implement actions towards the achievement of cost, speed, and sustainability targets.
Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, exceeding customer service expectations
Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated.
Drive for results and sustainable success within specified geography/corridor/customer cluster across the country and across borders by building long-term understanding with key customers and creating joint value with key stakeholders
Required Skills
5+ years of Experience in Air- Ground Sales Agent (GSA) business specializing in inbound/outbound commodity of trade.
Knowledge of Transport Management Solutions.
Demonstrated Commercial acumen in Solution Design, Product Portfolio, and Strategic Mindset
Good knowledge of Tender and RFQ Management and self-starter to adopt new IT Systems and Processes.
Ability to identify customer pain points using Qualitative and quantitative data.
Excellent management and communications skills.
