Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for feed and agricultural commodities to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of feed and consumables agricultural products, conduct supplier assessments, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and pricing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives and requirements.

Monitor and analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and supply-demand dynamics of feed and agricultural commodities to make informed sourcing decisions.

Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify potential cost savings opportunities and implement appropriate strategies.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and contractual safeguards for the procurement of feed and agricultural products.

Collaborate with the Director and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable sourcing initiatives, including responsible sourcing practices and supplier diversity programs.

Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supplier performance, quality, delivery, and cost savings.

Stay updated on industry regulations, certifications, and best practices related to feed and agricultural procurement, and ensure compliance within the organization.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

5-7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

English (written & Spoken)

Arabic (written & Spoken)

Team Building

Microsoft Office.

PC literate and able to use relevant software for Sourcing Roles such as SAP or ORACLE etc.
