Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and maintenance phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems.
Estimate costs, timelines, and material requirements for projects.
Research and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency and performance.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (master’s preferred for senior roles).
Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred or required depending on region and level).
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and circuit design tools.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, or embedded systems (role-dependent).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
