Job Description

Responsibilities:

Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for subsea structures, pipelines, manifolds, and tie-in systems using Bentley MicroStation.

Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data to produce accurate and compliant design deliverables.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Apply a strong understanding of subsea design principles and Saudi Aramco standards throughout the design process.

Prepare comprehensive drawing packages.

Produce Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Hydrotest Diagrams, and Crossing General Arrangement Drawings.

Develop Spool General Arrangement and Spool Isometric Drawings for fabrication and installation.

Prepare layout drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation schematics for offshore deployment.

Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper documentation control and versioning.

Participate in design reviews and contribute to constructability and feasibility assessments.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., DNV, API, ISO) and client-specific requirements.

Required Skills

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore subsea design using MicroStation.

Minimum 8 Years of experience as Draftsman.

Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation V8i or CONNECT Edition.

Familiarity with subsea components such as SSVs, PLEMs, jumpers, and umbilicals.

Understanding of offshore construction and subsea installation techniques.

Knowledge of CAD standards, layer management, and drawing control systems.
