Our client is recruiting for a PSYCHIATRIST (Adult P/t) to be based in their modern clinic facility centrally based in DUBAI, UAE. Brand new premises. Modern Facility. Family run boutique style business with several treatment rooms and small support team.

Role: Psychiatrist (Adult P/t) 

Location: Dubai, UAE

Hours: Various Days / Hrs to suit. Flexible Timings between 10am and 7pm

Salary & Benefits: Revenue Share 60/40

Summary: Responsible for providing the full range of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment to out-patients. Specialised in using clinical practice in the treatment of mental illnesses and disorders, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder and addictions. Busy clinic. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• MUST holds a DHA specialist license or eligibility as a Psychiatrist.
• MUST have a Minimum of 5 yrs experience in a clinic or hospital environment.
• MUST have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ideally with some international experience overseas of in other settings.
• Ideally already resident in Dubai.
• Will consider International candidates for Relocation.

Primary Responsibility:

• Analyzes and evaluates patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder.
• Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioural disorders.
• Counsel’s cases referred from other services by offering clinical advice or assuming full responsibility of the care.
• Conducts laboratory or diagnostic tests on patient to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.
• Contributes to the orientation of physicians, social workers, nurses and other Medical Organization personnel in the early detection, recognition, management or referral of psychiatric cases.
• Advises guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.
