Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices
Ensure that workers comply with HSE policies, procedures, and site rules.
Report all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the Safety Engineer or Project HSE Manager.
Assist in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Assist in conducting emergency drills and ensuring the availability of first aid kits and emergency response equipment.
Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions as required.
Issue HSE Enforcement Notices in line with the procedure
Monitor & assess hazardous & unsafe situations and drive prompt measures to improve safety.
Maintain records of daily inspections, toolbox talks, and safety reports.
Assist in preparing reports on HSE performance metrics as required.
Ensure the consistent implementation of all safety control measures and requirements outlined in the Construction Phase Safety Plan.
Support the Project HSE Manager in ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Assist the HSE Manager in preparing the project HSE documentation, including but not limited to plans, procedures, and reports
Advise and influence all levels of management on measures to eliminate or mitigate workplace hazards and risks.
Always uphold exceptional personal HSE compliance standards and complete any required training to remain aligned with company and industry standards.
Undertake additional HSE-related duties as and when assigned.
Promote HSE within the designated area of responsibility and ensure that the procedures outlined in the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System are adhered to at all times.
Required Skills
High School Diploma
Minimum 2-3 years’ working experience
NEBOSH IGC
