Job Description
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with UAE legislation and company standards.
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits, ensuring hazards are identified and controlled.
Prepare and maintain accurate HSE reports, records, and documentation for internal and client requirements.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks (TBT), and training sessions to employees and subcontractors.
Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Support and coordinate emergency preparedness, response drills, and evacuation plans.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, etc.) on HSE matters.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to MEP-specific safety requirements
Required Skills
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience (with proven exposure to MEP projects in UAE/GCC).
NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory).
Additional certifications (IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, First Aid, Fire Warden, etc.) are an advantage.
DEWA/DM (Dubai Municipality) approval is a strong plus.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proven ability in risk assessment, incident investigation, and delivering safety training/TBT.
Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
