Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the Global Press Office function, working with Client’s agency team to direct the creation and dissemination of key messaging, media materials, and content, ensuring consistency of voice and positioning.

As part of the hub function, lead the strategic development of PR and Communications frameworks across to be used across markets, fully aligned with DET’s overarching communication and business priorities.

Evaluate and manage global content partnerships, ensuring brand integrity and strategic alignment with Client’s global communication strategy.

Curate and lead high-profile familiarization programs for top-tier media, broadcast crews, and other media channels, ensuring alignment with Dubai’s brand pillars and measurable visibility outcomes.

Supervise proactive and reactive media relations, including global media requests, reputation management, and issues/crisis communication responses.

Lead media performance measurement by setting clear KPIs, analyzing outcomes, and steering continuous improvement based on data insights.

Strengthen stakeholder engagement with Dubai’s ecosystem—hotels, attractions, events, and private-sector partners—to co-create impactful international narratives.

Review third party providers' and agencies' proposals for Client's PR and communications needs and provide information to selection process

Oversee key PR agencies—providing strategic direction, reviewing performance, and ensuring campaigns deliver strong ROI and alignment with Clients’s priorities.

Collaborate with 360 teams (thereof trade, social, campaigns and business marketing) to integrate activities where relevant within the realm of PR

Required Skills

University/College Degree ideally in Strategic Communications, International Marketing, or Business Management is preferred.

8–10 years of progressive experience in international PR, brand communications, or integrated marketing, preferably within tourism, hospitality, lifestyle, or destination marketing sectors.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational objectives into compelling global narratives.

Proven experience in project management, working with global and local agencies.

Strong understanding of earned media and content partnership ecosystems.

Strong capabilities in reviewing and editing English language content
