Job Description

Responsibilities:

Oversight of Project Execution

Work alongside project teams to ensure objectives are delivered on time and within agreed scope.

Track progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, roadblocks, and achievements across multiple workstreams through deep understanding of projects.

Apply judgement to identify potential delays early and drive timely and effective corrective actions.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Support post-completion monitoring to ensure sustained impact beyond sprint delivery.

Highly proactive and solution-driven, with a strong bias toward closing issues and delivering results rather than passive coordination.

Ability to develop a deep understanding of projects and proactively identify potential delays, bottlenecks, and root causes.

Stakeholder Engagement

Engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective implementation of agreed solutions.

Ensure stakeholders are clear on roles, responsibilities, timelines, and dependencies.

Proactively follow up, align inputs, and escalate where required to maintain momentum.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, consulting, or a similar execution-focused role.

Demonstrated experience in project execution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Advanced understanding of project management concepts, including project charters, milestones, KPIs, dependencies, risk management, tracking and monitoring, and post-completion mechanisms.

Ability to build or maintain databases, trackers, and dashboards, and proactively detect inconsistencies or errors.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience in data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation.

Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to work with rapid turnaround times and shifting priorities.

Ability to take high-quality notes during working sessions and meetings and independently convert them into clear deliverables (e.g. minutes, summaries, reports) that accurately capture key points, decisions, actions, and next steps.
