Job Description

Responsibilities:

Safety

Responsible for safety of both Glazing and Glass Divisions.

To coordinate and liason with all Govt. agencies -- RAKEZ, RAK Municipality and others as per the requirements

To maintain the Fire hydrant and all other fire related systems in place and working always

To conduct Safety audits as per schedule

To conduct 5S audits as per schedule

To be responsible for maintaining systems as per ISO 14001 [OHSAS]

To be responsible for health and environment of the working as well as staying conditions of employees (residing in the company provided accommodations).

Sustainability

Drive the sustainability activities in the factory as well in offices, with special focus on energy and water reduction per unit produced

Train, educate and motivate the team to participate in sustainability activities

Liason with Govt. officials/ NGOs / Training institutes for getting updates, trained and networking to improve the company's sustainability drive

Participate in events related to sustainability

Represent company to the relevant stakeholders on the subject of sustainability, e.g., clients, architects, developers etc.

Get the required certifications as and when required
