Job Description

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives and key messaging.

Collaborate with marketing and media teams to ensure alignment with overall campaigns and sub-campaigns.

Content Management

Oversee end-to-end content creation in line with briefs and content calendars.

Create engaging, platform-specific content tailored to target audiences.

Monitor content performance and optimize using data-driven insights.

Benchmark creative trends and innovative ideas for continuous improvement.

Manage paid campaign assets, native content, and track asset performance.

Ensure all content aligns with brand positioning and campaign objectives.

Review and approve Arabic copy (fluency in Arabic required).

Agency Management

Manage relationships with social media agencies and external vendors.

Review and approve proposals, content plans, and deliverables.

Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing & Operations) for approvals and briefs.

Provide clear briefs to agencies on deliverables and reporting requirements.

Track agency performance against KPIs and address gaps proactively.

Social Media Monitoring & Engagement

Oversee agency performance in monitoring social media platforms for mentions, comments, and inquiries.

Ensure timely and effective responses to audience interactions.

Drive community engagement and strengthen brand loyalty.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and KPIs.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.

Utilize tools such as Sprinklr for reporting and monitoring.

Crisis Management

Develop and implement crisis management protocols.

Handle potential social media issues professionally and efficiently.

Trends & Innovation

Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Continuously bring innovative ideas to enhance brand presence.

Ad Hoc Digital & Content Support

Support the content team across digital initiatives, campaigns, and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) activities.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.

Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective best practices.

Proficiency in social media analytics tools and reporting.

Excellent communication and copywriting skills.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

Familiarity with the Dubai market and festivals landscape is an advantage.
