Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate all telecom engineering activities for offshore Oil & Gas facilities during the FEED phase.

Develop and review telecom system design deliverables including system architecture, layouts, and technical specifications.

Ensure all telecom systems comply with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications.

Design and integrate telecom systems such as CCTV, PAGA, TETRA/UHF/VHF radio systems, fibre optic networks, structured cabling, LAN/WAN, access control and security systems.

Interface with multidisciplinary teams (E&I, process, mechanical, piping, structural) to ensure integrated and clash-free design.

Participate in 3D model reviews and clash detection activities (e.g., Navisworks).

Review vendor documents, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Ensure system reliability, redundancy, and cybersecurity considerations are incorporated into the design.

Coordinate with project management to meet engineering schedules and milestones.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the telecom engineering team.

Required Skills

Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or equivalent.

15+ years of professional experience, mainly in offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Proven experience in lead telecom engineering roles during FEED/EPC phases.

Strong experience in offshore telecom systems.

Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory.

Familiarity with telecom design tools and 3D model environments (e.g., Navisworks).

Strong leadership and coordination skills.
