Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and review key process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances, Process Datasheets, and Cause & Effect diagrams.

Perform process simulations and calculations to support system design and optimization.

Ensure all process designs comply with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications.

Conduct and participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other safety studies.

Interface with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, E&I, structural) to ensure integrated and consistent design.

Support sizing and selection of process equipment such as separators, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers.

Review vendor documentation and provide technical input for Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).

Ensure process safety, operability, and reliability are fully incorporated into the design.

Participate in project meetings and support engineering coordination activities.

Required Skills

Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

15+ years of professional experience, mainly in offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Proven experience in process engineering during FEED/EPC phases.

Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus or equivalent).

Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory.

Familiarity with international standards and best practices in process engineering.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
