Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed engineering and design review for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and packaged equipment.
  • Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, RFQs, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor documents.
  • Coordinate with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and package engineers for multidisciplinary integration.
  • Review vendor drawings, calculations, GA drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Support FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, and commissioning activities for offshore and onshore oil & gas projects.
  • Participate in HAZOP, design review, constructability review, and technical clarification meetings with clients and vendors.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and client specifications.
  • Troubleshoot rotating equipment issues and support reliability and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure deliverables are completed within schedule and budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Refinery projects.
  • Strong experience in EPC/EPCI/PMC projects.
  • Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, heat exchangers, and packaged equipment.
  • Familiarity with API standards including API 610, API 617, API 614, API 682, and related international codes.
  • Experience in vendor document review, TBE preparation, procurement support, and package engineering.
  • Knowledge of FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience working on offshore projects is preferred.
  • Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and project execution workflows.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and document management systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
  • GCC/International project experience will be an added advantage.
