Perform detailed engineering and design review for static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, reactors, drums, and piping-related mechanical components.
Prepare and review equipment datasheets, material specifications, requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor documentation.
Review mechanical calculations, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and vendor packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Coordinate with process, piping, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and procurement teams for multidisciplinary project execution.
Support FEED, detailed engineering, EPC/EPCI, construction, and commissioning activities for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas projects.
Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, constructability reviews, and technical meetings with clients, vendors, and third-party consultants.
Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, testing, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and codes such as ASME, API, TEMA, ASTM, and client engineering standards.
Resolve technical queries, review deviation requests, and support engineering optimization and value engineering initiatives.
Coordinate with QA/QC and inspection teams to ensure quality and integrity of static equipment throughout project execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Mechanical Static Engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Offshore projects.
Strong experience in EPC/EPCI/PMC project environments.
Hands-on experience with static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, separators, and reactors.
Familiarity with international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, TEMA, ASTM, and related specifications.
Experience in vendor document review, procurement support, TBE preparation, and package engineering activities.
Knowledge of material selection, fabrication processes, inspection requirements, and mechanical integrity principles.
Experience supporting construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities is preferred.
Offshore project experience will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and EPC project execution workflows.
Strong communication, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills.
GCC or international project experience is preferred.
