Job Description

Responsibilities:

Tooling & Manufacturing Support

Assist in manufacturing and maintaining tooling as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Support tooling engineers in developing and qualifying tooling requirements for production.

Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and tooling specifications under guidance.

Participate in tooling maintenance and repair activities to ensure smooth production support.

Assist in implementing tooling process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.

Maintain tooling workshop standards, organization, and safety compliance.

Support the introduction of new products and tooling processes.

Engineering & Technical Support

Use engineering software such as CATIA, ENOVIA, and DELMIA for tooling-related activities.

Support NC programming and manufacturing documentation activities where required.

Assist in preparing technical reports, work instructions, and engineering documentation.

Participate in Engineering Change Management processes (CCB/ECCB).

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

Support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and QHSSE standards.

Contribute to process optimization and resource utilization improvements.

Ensure compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards and safety requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

Participate in internal meetings and provide updates on tooling activities and progress.

Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, and Program teams as required.

Required Skills

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool & Die, or related engineering discipline.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Internship or project exposure in tooling, manufacturing, CNC, or CAD/CAM will be an advantage.

Basic understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM and engineering software.

Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.

Good computer proficiency including MS Office applications.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Exposure to CNC/NC programming concepts.

Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards.

Understanding of product lifecycle management and engineering change processes.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
