Job Description

Responsibilities:

Production Support:

Ensure tools are in optimal condition to meet production requirements. 

Troubleshoot issues and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. 

Request tool spares as required. 

Create production support items such as trolleys, bins, and racks. 

Support the production line by mixing chemicals and collecting fasteners and cutters. 

Utilize knowledge of tool drawings. 

Operational Compliance:

Adhere to the SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Demand, People) program. 

Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistent, world-class service. 

Contribute to cost-efficient resource usage to reduce wastage. 

Adhere to all QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) instructions and controls.

Required Skills

1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.  Education: High School diploma, apprenticeship, or relevant on-the-job experience in a related industry. 

Practical experience maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic hand tools in an aerospace environment. 

Experience understanding tool drawings and specifications. 

Experience with Automatic Drilling Equipment (ADU). 

Specialized knowledge of Lean principles (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S) to drive efficient processes. 

Basic knowledge of program scope, requirements, and KPIs. 

Understanding of industry practices and standards. 

Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001) and Abu Dhabi EHSMS regulations. 

Ownership of ethics and resource utilization.

Positive attitude toward setbacks and accountability for delivering results. 

Supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. 

Respect for different cultures, specifically UAE culture and values

Identifying inefficiencies and being open to learning.
