Job Description

Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

Support the Production Lead/Manager in planning and proposing changes based on team capability. 

Organize work allocation and develop Kaizen opportunities. 

Coordinate manpower planning and hiring needs with HR and the Senior Production Manager. 

Production Execution:

Lead and motivate teams to achieve targets efficiently. 

Identify process bottlenecks and develop strategies to address them. 

Interface with Supply Chain to maintain necessary inventory and material levels. 

Coordinate manufacturing processes to meet plant forecasts and budget goals. 

Act as the primary focal point between Production and Programs for product-related issues. 

Leadership & Compliance:

Supervise Team Leaders to ensure work meets Client operating policies. 

Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates. 

Implement departmental policies and ensure team adherence to QHSSE procedures. 

Track and improve the effectiveness of the SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Demand, People) program.

Required Skills

8+ years of supervisory experience, including managing a large, diverse workforce.

Extensive experience in Lean manufacturing processes.

Experience with Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Core Honeycomb Manufacturing, Ply Cutting, Layup, Lean Manufacturing, Programs Understanding, and Composite Manufacturing Industry Awareness.

Health, Safety & Environment Management.

Autoclave processes and CNC Machine operation.

Painting and surface preparation procedures.

Cost of production including plant, materials, and manpower.

Quality of products measured by "1st time right" ratio.

Optimization of production lines and manufacturing processes to increase productivity.

Staff engagement levels and absenteeism.
