Responsibilities:
Review alerts generated by the company's name screening, transaction monitoring, and fraud monitoring systems.
Apply name screening alert management processes as per the established procedure and maintain the agreed turn-around-time to dispose alerts.
Conduct in-depth investigations into flagged alerts to determine the legitimacy of transactions or activities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, including findings and actions taken.
Collaborate closely with other teams, including compliance, legal, and risk management, to ensure a coordinated approach to financial crime detection and prevention.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of financial crime controls operations.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging financial crime threats through ongoing training and professional development activities.
Required Skills:
1 to 2 years of experience working on name screening, transaction monitoring, and fraud monitoring.
Basic proficiency in understanding Financial Crime Compliance specifically around the identification of money laundering, fraud and sanctions cases.
Some basic knowledge on PEPs and the risk they can bring to us as a client.
Drive to bring in operational efficiency and create exponential success as part of a high performing team.
Passionate about the customers and demonstrated experience of building a relationship with them.
Ability to balance between achieving business goals with the right controls and risk mitigation.
Good communication in English (articulation and writing)
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
