Responsibilities:
Support the execution of commodity trade transactions.
Monitor shipment schedules, vessel movements, and cargo deliveries.
Coordinate and maintain trade-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, shipping, and commercial documents.
Update and maintain accurate records in trading and reporting systems.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Manage and maintain commercial risk and PnL reports
Collect and summarize market and operational information for the trading team.
Liaise with logistics providers, inspection companies, finance teams, banks, customers, and other counterparties.
Monitor contract performance and follow up on outstanding operational and documentation matters.
Maintain organized filing and record-keeping of trade and commercial documents.
Support process improvement initiatives and other operational projects as required.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
0–2 years of experience in trading, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Team-oriented with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
