Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Develop detailed structural designs for offshore platforms and facilities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
Utilize advanced design software and tools to create accurate and efficient structural models.
Project Management:
Participate in FEED, EPC, and detailed design phases of projects.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and engineers.
Conduct structural analysis and simulations to validate design integrity.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in design reviews and audits to maintain quality and safety standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other external parties.
Required Skills:
Qualifications: Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)
Main skills: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore structural design within the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SACS, or similar tools with must SP3D experience.
Strong understanding of offshore design codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
