Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities for us in the Middle East
Support sales staff with customer visits, technical seminars, project discussions and account development
Promote our products and new materials to end-users, designers, licensors, engineering companies and fabricators
Support customers with corrosion knowledge, failure analysis and material selection recommendations
Represent our and present at technical conferences and industry events
Map new applications, customers and segments for us in the Middle East
Map opportunities for product development based on market needs
Be part of our APAC Technical Marketing Team
Initiate and drive critical initiatives for business development (short, mid and long term)
Provide product managers with market input, application knowledge and product planning support
Required Skills:
For this position, we are looking for someone with a degree, preferably, in Materials, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge obtained through extensive and solid work experience.
You have excellent industry and application understanding within target industries, such as oil and gas, refinery, chemical processing and power generation, or the metals industry.
You have a solid commercial understanding and drive to growth the business. MBA degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of corrosion, failure analysis, and material solutions.
Good understanding of stainless steel, duplex steel, nickel alloys, and other corrosion resistant material
Ability to translate technical issues into clear customer value and practical recommendations
Excellent presentation skills, ability to lead technical seminars and discussions, giving presenting at conferences etc.
Business mindset with the ability to identify new applications and growth opportunities for Alleima
Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, whilst skills in other languages are advantageous.
We are looking for someone who is confident visiting customers leading technical discussions, making presentations, and discussing corrosion issues.
Proven track record in developing new business within petrochemical, refining sectors, power generation and other process industry across MENA region.
Experience within renewables sector with experience in Biofuels, Wind power, Hydrogen, and solar power is seen as bonus.
Experience in corrosion, corrosion testing, failure analysis and material selection
Experience working with end-users, designers, licensors, engineering companies and fabricators
Experience in technical marketing or similar roles, application development, customer seminars
Experience with renewable sector like Hydrogen, Biofuels, CCS and Solar will be added advantage.
You also have excellent knowledge of production standards and customer approval programs, as well as good corrosion knowledge & capable of material recommendation.
You will possess 4-5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
