Responsibilities:
Manage all DLP service requests end-to-end across the project(s).
Report daily on service requests received from owners/end users.
Manage defects reported during the DLP and route them to the main contractor with full tracking.
Utilize the client's systems for operations and reporting.
Arrange and chair regular progress meetings with the main contractor to track DLP close-out.
Escalate unattended or disputed DLP snags to the client in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a register of disputed snags to support final settlement/deduction decisions against the main contractor.
Support customer escalations and provide owners with regular work-progress updates.
Develop scope of services to engage external vendors for out-of-scope/disputed items and works.
Support with evidence and documentation in the event of a DLP dispute.
Recommend process/operational improvements to enhance the DLP and handover journey.
Manage the master list of unit owners scheduled for handover.
Coordinate with the Projects Team and contractors to keep project information current.
Follow up with the Contractor and Projects Team to ensure reported DLP issues are addressed.
Schedule daily, weekly and periodic meetings with the contractor and Projects Team.
Verify completion and rectification of DLP snags carried out by the Contractor.
Support additional correspondence required by the client.
Analyze project performance from a technical and commercial perspective; prepare presentations and reports for client leadership.
Manage the full outsourced DLP team, including the DLP Team Leader(s) and DLP Executives.
Own delivery of the contract against agreed KPIs/SLAs, including staff performance management.
Lead recruitment/selection input (job descriptions, interviews) for team positions under the DLP function, in coordination with the client. Minimum Education
Own the complete end-to-end DLP process from mobilization through final DLP close-out and demobilization.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years' overall experience, including 5+ years' experience in Handover/DLP operations, with prior team management experience. Fluent in Arabic and English.
Project Management certification preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Facilities Management / Handover-related certification preferred (e.g. IFMA, RICS, BIFM/IWFM).
Basic HSE / Occupational Health & Safety awareness certificate (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH awareness or equivalent).
First Aid certification (recommended).
