Plaster Technician / Cast Technician

Job Summary:
Plaster Technician will be applying, modifying, and removing orthopedic plaster and fiberglass casts under the direction of orthopedic doctors.

Job Location :- Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply and remove POP, fiberglass casts, and orthopedic splints.
• Safely cut and remove casts using a cast saw.
• Assist orthopedic doctors during casting and fracture procedures.
• Ensure proper padding, fitting, alignment, and patient comfort.
• Monitor for pressure, swelling, numbness, or other cast-related problems and report to the doctor.
• Maintain casting equipment and supplies.
• Follow hospital infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
• Provide basic instructions to patients regarding cast care.

Requirements:

• Relevant Plaster/Cast Technician training or certification.
• Previous hospital/orthopedic experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of cast application and removal techniques.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
