Responsibilities:
Treasury Operations, Cash Management & Controls
Support the day-to-day treasury operations of the Group, including cash management, payment processing, bank reconciliations, cash reporting, and treasury administration.
Monitor bank accounts and cash positions, prepare treasury and liquidity reports, and assist with short-term cash forecasting activities.
Process domestic and international payments, track their execution, and liaise with banking partners to resolve operational issues.
Maintain treasury records, banking documentation, and treasury databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal policies and approval procedures.
Support month-end activities, audit requirements and treasury reporting processes while identifying opportunities to improve controls, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Banking Administration
Assist in managing relationships with local and international banking partners.
Prepare documentation required for bank account openings, amendments, and closures.
Coordinate KYC reviews and compliance requests from banking partners.
Maintain bank mandates and authorized signatory records.
Liaise with banks to resolve operational issues and payment queries.
CEMAC Banking Support
Support treasury activities across countries operating within the CEMAC region.
Assist with payment execution and cash management activities involving Central African banks.
Maintain an understanding of BEAC foreign exchange regulations and banking requirements.
Coordinate with local finance teams regarding banking documentation and payment support.
Follow up on regulatory approvals and supporting documents required for international transfers when applicable.
Assist in monitoring banking developments and regulatory changes affecting treasury operations within the region.
Systems & Process Support
Support treasury management systems and banking platforms.
Maintain banking master data and treasury records.
Assist with testing of payment files and banking interfaces.
Participate in treasury projects and process improvement initiatives.
Support system implementations and treasury automation projects when required.
Required Skills:
Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Banking Operations or Finance.
Experience working with banks in Central Africa is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience dealing with BEAC exchange control requirements, supporting documentation for international payments and interactions with commercial banks in the Republic of Congo.
Experience with payment processing, bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
Familiarity with electronic banking platforms and SWIFT payments.
Previous experience in a multinational corporate environment would be advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking or Business Administration.
Treasury-related qualifications would be considered an advantage.
Language Requirements
Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
