Responsibilities:
Security Operations
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage day-to-day security operations across all facilities.
Supervise security officers, supervisors, and outsourced security service providers.
Conduct regular security inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure effective access control and visitor management processes.
Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
Risk Management
Identify security threats and vulnerabilities.
Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
Develop business continuity and emergency response plans.
Maintain crisis management and incident response procedures.
Incident Management
Lead investigations into security incidents, theft, fraud, vandalism, and other security breaches.
Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities when required.
Analyze incident trends to improve preventive measures.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel.
Prepare duty rosters and manage workforce scheduling.
Conduct regular security drills and emergency response exercises.
Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and organizational security policies.
Maintain security documentation, reports, licenses, and records.
Support internal and external security audits.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable security frameworks where required.
Emergency Response
Lead emergency response during fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and security threats.
Coordinate evacuation procedures.
Liaise with emergency services and local authorities.
Review emergency preparedness plans regularly.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional security certifications are preferred (e.g., CPP, PSP, PCI, or equivalent).
First Aid and Fire Safety certifications are advantageous.
7–10 years of progressive experience in security operations.
At least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
Experience managing contract security personnel.
Experience with enterprise security systems and technologies.
Proven experience in conducting investigations and managing emergency situations.
