Responsibilities:
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene: Cleaning dishes, glassware, cooking equipment, floors, and food preparation areas, as well as taking out trash and restocking supplies
Assisting kitchen and service staff: Helping with food preparation, receiving deliveries, and supporting wait staff or chefs
Customer service: Welcoming guests, seating them, serving water or beverages, and responding to inquiries
Event and crowd management: Monitoring crowd density, guiding participants through entry and exit points, and ensuring safe evacuation routes during emergencies
Safety and hazard monitoring: Identifying potential hazards, ensuring proper disposal of waste, and implementing safety procedures when needed
Administrative support: Occasionally performing tasks like answering phones, taking reservations, or providing basic information. Operational stewards require physical stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational skills to manage fast-paced environments effectively
