Operate shovel/heavy equipment safely and efficiently at construction, excavation, or project sites.
Perform loading, excavation, digging, leveling, and material-handling activities as instructed.
Inspect the machine before and after operation and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Follow site safety procedures and comply with all HSE requirements.
Ensure proper handling of materials and avoid damage to equipment, property, or surrounding areas.
Coordinate with site supervisors, banksmen, and other equipment operators during operations.
Maintain the equipment in clean and operational condition.
Follow daily work schedules and instructions from the site supervisor.
Maintain awareness of workers, vehicles, underground utilities, and other hazards around the operating area.
Complete daily equipment inspection and operational records when required.
