Responsibilities:

The QHSE Officer supports the Contract Manager in implementing, maintaining, and assuring the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, Compliance and Risk Management framework across the contract(s) as instructed by the Contract Manager.

The role focuses on execution, monitoring, verification, and continuous improvement of QHSE, compliance, risk, and assurance processes — ensuring standards are consistently applied, risks are controlled, and performance is measured, reported, and improved.

The position acts as a key operational and technical link between contract operations teams and central governance, supporting audits, inspections, risk assessment reviews, reporting, and corrective action tracking for the sites under their responsibilities.

To coordinate the support elements through attending to QHSE concerns within the contract, performing QHSE & Compliance and Business Continuity inductions, site inspections, monitoring, internal auditing, analysis of statistics, trends & performance, and provision of reports for all elements relating to Occupational Safety & Health and the Environment for the contract(s).

To act as the QHSE & Compliance competent person in the provision of the QHSE & Compliance Departmental outputs for the contract and deputise on other contracts when required by the Manager.

Required Skills:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in QHSE roles or Compliance Roles, preferably within Facilities Management or the services industry.

Exposure in the development or integration of corporate management systems

Knowledge of the International ISO standard requirements for 45001, ISO 9001, 14001, including document control processes

Knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and regulatory environment for the service Industry.

Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodology

Good Knowledge of the MS Office suite document management system software

High level of competency in collecting, analysing, and accurately interpreting statistical, technical and other forms of data into succinct reports and executive summaries

Strong understanding of business processes and controls

Arabic language proficiency (professional fluency) is preferred but not mandatory.

Holds a Health and Safety Level 3 Certificate (Diploma is desirable).

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification and other ISO Qualifications will be an advantage

Degree or Diploma in any engineering discipline.
