Responsibilities:

Live Streaming Operations

Design, configure, and operate end-to-end live streaming workflows

Set up and manage hardware & software encoders

Configure and stream via RTMP, SRT, HLS protocol

Operate streaming software such as OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Restream

Monitor stream health (bitrate, latency, packet loss, redundancy)

Stream to multiple platforms simultaneously

Hybrid Event Platform Management

Set up and manage hybrid event platforms (virtual + physical integration)

Configure speaker sessions, breakout rooms, and audience engagement tools

Integrate live streaming with event apps and registration systems

Manage Q&A, polling, chat moderation, and virtual networking features

Ensure smooth remote speaker connectivity

On-Site Technical & Equipment Management

Install and configure cameras, switchers, video mixers, encoders, and recorders

Setup networking infrastructure (routers, switches, IP configuration, NDI setup)

Manage audio routing, microphones, mixers, and signal flow

Coordinate with AV, IT, production, and creative teams

Conduct technical rehearsals and redundancy testing

social media & Multi-Platform Streaming

Manage live streaming to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, LinkedIn Live, and other social platforms

Optimize stream settings for each platform requirement

Monitor engagement metrics during live broadcast

Troubleshoot platform-specific streaming issues

Technical Software & Systems

Operate media server systems such as VMAX and other show control software

Configure Watchout / Arena/media playback systems (if required)

Set up and manage different streaming servers

Encode and transcode video for OTT and VOD delivery

Recording & Post-Event Deliverables

Capture PGM, clean feed, and ISO recordings

Ensure backup recording to SSD/NAS

Organize and handover recorded content

Support quick turnaround highlights or recap video delivery

Event Coordination & Management

Review Run-of-Show (ROS) and technical rider

Coordinate with the show caller and production manager

Provide technical documentation and signal flow diagrams

Ensure compliance with local regulations (UAE media guidelines if applicable)

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of live streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS)

Experience with OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Restream

Experience managing hybrid platforms (virtual event systems)

Knowledge of networking basics (IP addressing, VLAN, bandwidth management)

Experience with NDI workflows

Hands-on experience with video switchers (ATEM or similar)

Audio troubleshooting and synchronization knowledge

Multi-camera live production handling
